Fascial Stretching

Fascial Stretching: gentle but effective
Fascial Stretching is perfect for those who aren't taking enough time to stretch on their own, or just know that someone else can do it better. By using slow, gentle movements and light traction, your therapist will work to clean out the cobwebs and break up those tight tissues in your hips, shoulders, neck and more.

Stretching doesn't have to hurt to be effective

Fascial Stretching is best described as clearing out the cobwebs deep in your muscles and joints. And if you always say you need to stretch more but you don’t know what is the right way to stretch, or you simply don’t want to do it because it’s just one more thing that you need to add to your daily to do list, we’ve got your back. And neck. And arms. And shoulders. And legs. And hips. And feet.

Gentle traction
Stretching doesn’t have to hurt in order to be effective, and not everyone has a body destined to do the splits at a moments notice or are winning limbo competitions around the globe. But EVERY BODY needs their fascia worked! And if you’re wondering what fascia is, think of it as your body’s wetsuit:  it’s holding everything in. The muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments, organ, blood vessels, bone, nerve fibers and more. And even more interesting, it has nerves that make it sensitive just like your skin. Have you ever watched someone at the gym rolling out their IT band with a super hard foam roller (or even worse, a wide PVC pipe)? Maybe instead they should be rolling out the muscles that attach to the IT band, including the quads and hamstrings. By loosening up those muscles they won’t be gripping on to the IT band for dear life and you don’t need to worry about raiding the hardware store to find your next torture device for self care!

Fascial Stretching may feel gentle but you’ll be surprised at how effective it is. While there are many styles of stretching in the bodywork world, fascial stretching incorporations gentle traction and slow movements which will in turn help to reduce or eliminate tight muscles, stiff joints, pain, improve flexibility, muscle activation response and relaxation. This is the solution to those sticky, icky joints that cause you so many problems.

Experience greater range of motion, less pain, and the satisfaction knowing that you aren't as old and decrepit as you think you are. Get "stretch drunk" today!
