MPS (Microcurrent Point Stimulation) Therapy is one of our most effective tools for chronic pain that won't respond to massage alone. By working with your nervous system at acupuncture and trigger points, it can bring lasting relief, often with less discomfort than other approaches, like intra-oral work for TMJ.
Many clients notice improvement for up to 72 hours after treatment, and some report lasting results in as few as 3-5 sessions.

What is MPS Therapy?
MPS Therapy utilizes the Dolphin Neurostim device, a handheld unit about the size of a pen, to apply small amounts of direct current to specific acupuncture and trigger points on the body. It's not a TENS unit. Where TENS stimulates nerve endings to mask pain signals, MPS works directly with your autonomic nervous system to calm the stress response that's keeping your body stuck in pain.
What does a session feel like?
The device makes contact with your skin at specific points. Some spots feel completely neutral; others feel a little tender, which is usually a sign we've found exactly where we need to be. Most people find it relaxing, while some compare the sensation to getting a bee sting, or a tattoo, or like they are being poked with a hot knife. It truly depends. The more the area needs work, the more you're going to feel it. But we're typically on a spot for no more than 45-60 seconds (usually less) and trust us, the benefits far outweigh the temporary discomfort. Sessions can be standalone or added on to a massage, depending on the therapist you're working with.
What can MPS Therapy help with?
MPS works well across a wide range of conditions:
MPS Therapy for scars
This is one of the most underutilized applications of MPS and one of the most effective.
Scar tissue doesn't just affect the surface. It can restrict fascia, disrupt nerve signaling, and create pain patterns that show up well away from the original site. C-section scars, for example, are closely linked to back pain, hip tightness, and that persistent "band" sensation across the lower abdomen.
MPS applied to scar tissue can:
